Siddarabetta Tumakuru
It is believed to be a Sacred Place where 9000 siddaru (Holy spiritual men) made meditation, worship of Lord Shiva, and they attained Moksha (Freedom). A famous temple is situated at the Top of the Hill. A Tough trip will be a better companion as it is difficult to Climb this Rock structured temple. Way to Siddara Betta starts from Tumkur Road (NH-4) with a deviation to the right towards Dobbspet which is about 45 kms from Bangalore, another 32kms from there takes you to Koratagere and 12kms from Koratagere will lead you to Siddara Betta.
